Obituary
Canandaigua- Elaine K. Kennedy, age 80, Wife, Parent, Loving Grandmother, Teacher, FHA hero, 4-H’er, “Shoaler”, and Minister’s Wife died January 21, 2018.
Friends may call Friday (Jan. 26th) from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Rushville United Methodist Church. A Funeral Service will follow at 5 p.m.
A Reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the service.

Elaine lived the 4-H Pledge. She pledged her head to clearer thinking, her heart to greater loyalty, her hands to larger service, and her health to better living, for her club, her community, her country, and her world. She exemplified the 4-H Motto “To Make the Best Better” with her love of teaching students from pre-school through college.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 59 years, Rev. Dr. Edward Kennedy; daughter, Esther Kennedy; son, Eben (Eileen) Kennedy; two grandchildren, Emilyn Kennedy and Ethan Kennedy; brother, Lee (Pam) Kahler; sisters-in-law, Penny (Robert) Harriger and Pam Kennedy; nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Celia.
