Obituary
Stanley- Edith A. Laursen, 91, died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at her home.
Friends may call Tuesday (April 10th) from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Bellona Cemetery. After the burial, everyone is invited to a reception at G & M Chuckwagon in Gorham.

Edith was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Danish Sisterhood in Penn Yan. Edith enjoyed feeding the birds, gardening, going for walks, helping people and Sunday drives.
Edith is survived by three children, Larry (Juli) Laursen, Lee Ann (Brian) Shipman and Les (Kim) Laursen; 6 Grandchildren, Angie (Tim) Burd, Jeff (Alyssa) Laursen, Jamie (Cody) Darnell, John (Lisa) Lombardi, Nathan (Sara) Shipman and Mindy Laursen; 9 great-grandchildren, Maison and Kash Burd, Carter and Haylee Laursen, Colt Darnell, Nolan and Leah Shipman and Mallory and Jake Lombardi; Sister-in-law, Erna Christensen; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert M. Laursen on Nov. 16, 1987; her parents Floyd and Ellen Brundage and her brother, Bob (Beulah) Brundage.
