Obituary
Stanley- Dorothy L. Savage Morse, 99, died Monday, August 8, 2016.
Friends may call Friday (August 12th) from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Number Nine Cemetery.
Dorothy was born Nov. 3, 1916 at home on Savage Road in the Town of Seneca. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Flora Cooley Savage. Dorothy married Charles M. Morse in 1938. She worked as a Department Manager at W.T. Grant Co. in Geneva until her retirement in 1975.
Dorothy is survived by son, Lynn (Carol) Morse; 4 daughters, Janet (James) Brock, Linda (Roger) Kimball, Arlene (Conrad) Conger and Joan Morse; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Charles M. Morse in 1967; her son, Philip Morse; granddaughter, Jessica; grandson, Charles U. Hayes III; 1 sister, Gladys Smith; 3 brothers, Robert, Richard and Sherman Savage; and by her “significant other”, Bill Frarey.
