Geneva- Dorothy Faye York Jantzen, age 92, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
Honoring Dorothy’s wishes there will be no prior calling hours or services.
A private burial will take place at Sand Hill Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions in Dorothy’s name can be made to Samaritan’s Purse International Relief, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
Dorothy was born on April 11, 1930 in Stanley, NY to the late Robert V. York and Leah D. York. She was a graduate of Geneva High School.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Richard G. (Sandra B.) Jantzen of Stanley and Robert C. (Valeri B.) Jantzen of Victor; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia York of Geneva; and a niece, Susan Y. Jones of Columbus, Georgia.
Dorothy was predeceased by her parents; her husband Garth Merkt Jantzen; brother, Gordon D. (Phyllis L.) York; sister, Margaret Y. (N. Kyle) Hilton; and 2 nieces, Patricia Y. Clarke and Deborah J. York.
