GORHAM – Donald “Edward” Pease, age 90, died March 04, 2021.

Ed was born November 4, 1930 in Canandaigua, NY. He attended Gorham Central School. Ed was a lifelong farmer and resident of the Town of Gorham. He started Pease Implement in 1948 with his uncle John Pease. Ed was the youngest Oliver dealer at the age of 17. In 1958, he bought out John’s share and moved the dealership to Gorham. Ed was an Oliver/White dealer until 1980. In 1961, he started Pease Bean & Grain on Kearney Road in Gorham. Ed was a lifetime member of the Gorham Fire Dept. and was a past member of the Stanley-Hall-Gorham Ambulance. He retired from farming at the age of 82.

Ed is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jean; four children,
James Pease, Joane (Joel) Elwell, Brenda (Joseph) DeBoover and Deborah (Ed) Nageldinger; 8 grandchildren, Elana (Eric) Phillips, Caitrin (Paaqua) Elwell, Tim (Lyndsey) Burnett, Nyssa (Neal) Curtis, Brian (Presley) Nageldinger, Amy (Brian) Nageldinger, Claire (Damon) DeBoover, and Annaleigh DeBoover; and 9 great-Grandchildren, Parker, Lesli, Gavin, Alexander, Reese, Bryce, Elias, Loki and Freya.

Ed was predeceased by his parents, Marjorie (Curtis) and Donald Pease; and his brother, Leon Pease.
