Obituary
Canandaigua- Debra J. Hamilton, 61, died Friday, October 27, 2017, after a long illness, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester with her husband, Rick, at her side.
Friends may call Thursday (Nov. 2nd) from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will follow at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Overackers Cemetery.

Debbie was the daughter of the late Frederick Dean and Eula Dildine Dean Gavette. She was a 1975 graduate of Marcus Whitman High School. Debbie worked at Premier Packaging in Victor for 24 years.
Debbie enjoyed baking for her family and watching the NY Jets football team. She adored her grandchildren and had a heart of gold.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Richard “Rick” Hamilton; son, Jeremy Hamilton; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Randy (Liz) Gavette, Cathy (Kevin Hunt) Gage, Mark (Donna Parks) Gavette, Dee (Clint) Howell and Susan (Jim) Merit; brother-in-law, Clyde (Audrey) Hamilton; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Kerrick, Mary Stine, and Lois Jackson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Debbie was predeceased by her parents, and by her step-father, Raymond Gavette.
