Obituary

Canandaigua- Debora Ann Frankish, age 70, passed away peacefully at F.F. Thompson Hospital on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Friends may call on Thursday (May 18th) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral  Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday (May 19th) at the funeral home. A private burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Reed Corners Federated Church, 4030 Rte. 247, Canandaigua, NY 14424; or to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Debi was the daughter of the late Harold K. Davie and Betty R. Smith Davie. She was a graduate of  Canandaigua  Academy. Debi had been a waitress for many years at the Akropolis Restaurant in Canandaigua. She was a member of the Reed Corners Federated Church.

Debi was a creative crafter, who could make beautiful creations. She was also an avid bowler for many years. Most of all she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who always put others before herself. She was especially over-the-moon in love with her grandchildren.

Debi is survived by her husband of 50 years, Frederick C. Frankish; daughter, Kristie (Mathew) Nielsen and Casey (Samantha) Frankish; 7 grandchildren, Emily, Faith and Grace Nielsen and Finley, Isabella, Ryan and Quinn Frankish; three sisters, Donna (Anthony) Leskovistch, Dianne (Steve) Siebert and Deanna (Peter) Bell; four sisters-in-law, Elaine (Robert) Green, Lorraine (Eddy) LaDue, Georgia (Robert) Sperano and Monica Frankish; one brother-in-law, John (Anne Copella) Frankish; aunt, Mary Jo Smith; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Debi was predeceased by her parents; and by brother-in-law, Gary Frankish.
