Canandaigua- Charles L. Morris, age 95, died Friday, February 8, 2019 at F.F. Thompson Hospital.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Penn Yan.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the V.A. Medical Center Activities Fund, 400 Fort Hill Ave, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII. He was a graduate of the Gorham Central School. Charles was a member of the VFW Post 745 of Penn Yan and of the Johnson-Costello American Legion Post 355 of Penn Yan.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Laurie Egan; granddaughter, Katie Egan; grandsons, Charles (Amy) Morris, Dennis Morris, and Brian (Karie) Morris; several great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Peggy) Morris; sister, Roselie (Peter) Overbaugh; and daughter-in-law, Helen Morris.
Charles was predeceased by his wife Ilda Morris; and 3 sons.
