Phelps- Charles J. Dutcher, Jr., age 86, died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Clifton Springs Nursing Home.
Friends may call from 1-2 on Wednesday (Nov. 14) at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will follow at 2 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Orleans Cemetery.

Charles was the son of the late Charles J. Dutcher, Sr. and Virginia Rackum Dutcher. He was born on Aug 16, 1932 in the town of Seneca. Charles was a graduate of the Gorham Central School, Class of 1951. He married his wife, Glenda E. Hurlbutt, on Feb 16, 1952 at the Flint Methodist Church.
Charles drove truck for Earl Wadham’s Trucking in Waterloo and was a life long farmer.
Charles is survived by his wife of 66 years, Glenda E. (Hurlbutt) Dutcher; 2 sons, Bradley (Janet) Dutcher and Wade Dutcher; 2 daughters, Shelley (Charles) Walker and Paula (Shawn) Rooney; 8 grandchildren, Joshua Dutcher, Marcy Dutcher, Chad (Cathy) Walker, Sarah (Brian) Tandle, Ashley Rooney, Christopher (Danielle) Dutcher, Adam (Kate) Dutcher and Jordan Dutcher; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Rodney (Eleanor) Frarey and Terry (Fran) Frarey; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
