Obituary
Penn Yan- Cecil R. “Skip” Johnson, age 67, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, at his home.
There will be a Gathering at the Dundee American Legion at 5 p.m. on Sunday (Sept. 16th), followed by a reception at the Legion. Burial will be private at Hillside Cemetery, Dundee.

Skip was born August 17, 1951 in Penn Yan, NY, the son of Marion Dixon Johnson and the late Francis Johnson. He was retired from CSX Railroad.
Skip volunteered at Camp Good Days in Branchport, and enjoyed playing Santa Claus for community organizations. He was a Son of the Legion member of the Dundee American Legion. Skip was a member of the Dundee Fire Dept. and the Isaac Walton League.
Skip is survived by his mother, Marion Johnson Harris; son, Shane (Stephanie) Johnson; two daughters, Bethany (Norm) West and Heather (Stanley) Mason; partner, Sharon McMillen, and her son, Brent McMillen; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Judy Johnson; three sisters, Diane (David) Nelson, Wendy (Todd) McCutchen and Kim (Kevin) Fultz; and several nieces and nephews.
Skip was predeceased by his father, Francis Johnson; his sister, Karen Maynard; and his step-father, Marshall “Bing” Harris.
