Obituary
Rushville- Catherine L. Harris, age 77, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018.
Friends may call Thursday (Dec. 6th) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Rushville Cemetery.

Cathy was the daughter of the late Carlton Kennerson, Sr. and Doris Bryant Kennerson. She was a 1959 graduate of Penn Yan Academy, and the Del Kader French School of Beauty Culture in 1961. Cathy owned and operated Cathy Harris’ Beauty Shop for 55 years. Her customers were like family. Cathy loved Jesus, stray kids, stray animals and Halloween. She was called “Mom” and “Grandma” by many.
Cathy is survived by five children, Matthew Harris, Cindy Cator-Allen (Tony) Tucceri, James Russell (Betty) Cator, Michael J. (Brenda) Harris and Cash E. Harris; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer (Tom) Ewing, Amanda (Matthew) Angell, Philip (Kaycie) Allen II, James Roland Cator, Kelly (Ken) Hutchinson, Michael Harris, Samantha (Justin) Woodruff) Harris, Kacie Harris, Matthew Harris and Cash Harris; 11 great-grandchildren, Ty Arnold, Kaylee Angell, Rylan Angell, Laybrie, Kira Hutchinson , Kaelyn Hutchinson, Kensley Hutchinson, Jaenette Cator, Jayden Mincer, Austin Mincer and Landon Woodruff; two brothers, Rick Kennerson and Edward Kennerson; sister-in-law, Barb Kennerson; best friends, James Harold and Lucille Cator; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cathy was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Lawrence E. Harris, and her brothers, Carlton Kennerson, Jr., Mike Kennerson, Bob Kennerson, Charles Kennerson.
