Calling hours will be held Friday (9/15) from -2-6 pm at the Rushville United Methodist Church, 26 N Main St, with services directly to follow at 6 p.m.

Bette Brown died September 6th under a Harvest Moon. Bette is best remembered as a powerful force of intuition who communed with Nature, God and, especially, people. Her love for her husband, her children, friends and the Human Family shaped who she was as a wife, mother, community member, citizen and activist. She wanted nothing more than for people to
see each other’s differences as special and valuable and an amazing gift of God. This spirit is carried in the hearts and lives of those who love her most.
Bette is survived by husband Fred Brown, children Wendy, Chris (Melissa), Melissa (Jerry), Katie (Ray), Meg (Matt), Maria (Greg), Liz (Rob), Joe (Angela), Nathan (Katherine) and grandchildren Nick, Elizabeth, Audrey, Sophia, Molly, Phinn (Kirby), Oliver, Linus, Aidan, Brody, Evy, Memphis, Teaghan, Willa and Lilly.
