Obituary
Barbara Wilsey at age 93 passed away on October 6, 2021, at the Homestead at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Penn Yan, NY.
In honoring her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Barbara was born on November 19, 1927, in the Town of Benton and was the fourth child of LeGrand and Lucille Ottman Fancett. She was a 1944 graduate of Leavenworth Central School, Wolcott, NY. Barbara was a legal assistant for 30 years retiring in 1989. On September 25, 1948, she married Evans (Bill) Wilsey.
Barbara was an active member of community and was a session clerk for the Bellona Memorial Presbyterian Church for 20 years. She was devoted to her husband and enjoyed their travels, especially to Ireland and Rockport, MA. Her interests included gardening, horses, and basket making.
Barbara is survived by her two loving sons, Gary (Mary) of Waterloo and William (Luann) of Geneva; her pride and joy granddaughters, Lauren (Eric) Fitzpatrick of Trumansburg and Annie (Montana Bowman) Wilsey of Baltimore, Maryland; great-granddaughter Lyra Fitzpatrick; sisters-in-law Bernice O’Connor and Janet Carr; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2014 and her siblings Betty Jane Reed, Norman, Gerald, Merle, and Dale.
