Obituary
Shortsville- Alma Ruppert, age 86, passed away on Thursday December 17, 2020.
The family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday Dec. 22, 2020 from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. Funeral services will be private; burial will be in Rushville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Alma’s name can be made to Ontario – Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Rd., Geneva, NY 14456.
Alma was born on June 22, 1934 in Stutgord, Germany to Jacob and Hilda Ruppert. She was employed for many years at Widmer Wines in Naples.
Alma is survived by 3 sons, Jake (Kelly) Boser of Naples, Bill (Nancy) Boser of Penn Yan and Chuck Boser of Gorham; 3 daughters, Hilda (Robert) Calderon of Daytona, FL, Barbara Chesser of Kentucky and Margaret (Rodney) Sampson of Shortsville; a brother, Warner Ruppert; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Alma was predeceased by her parents, her son, Mike Boser; and her daughter, Mary McQuay.
