Potter- Alfred M. Cooper, Jr., age 68, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, August 26, 2021.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the Cooper family asks you to consider a donation to your local Fire Dept. or Ambulance Service.
Al was born Dec. 8, 1952 in Canandaigua, NY. He was the son of the late Alfred M. Cooper, Sr. and Agnes Smith Cooper. Al was a graduate of Naples High School. He was a Union Carpenter with the Carpenters Local 276 of Rochester.
Al enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening and building. Al and Sue had enjoyed traveling together.
Al is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan Maslyn Cooper; two sons, Matthew Alfred (Tammy) Cooper and Jason Paul (Brandy) Cooper; four grandchildren, Preston, Garret, Kaiya and Abbi Cooper; two sisters, Mary Ann (Tom) Igoe and Cora Lee (Jeffrey) Stansfield; one brother, Dale (Deb) Cooper; and several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Al was predeceased by his parents; and by his sister, Cindy Lou Cooper
