Obituary
Stanley – Shirley Jane Brown, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 9, 2021, with her loving family at her side.
Friends may call Thursday (May 13th) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will be held Friday (May 14th) at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gorham Cemetery.

Shirley was born on December 19, 1935. She grew up and lived in Stanley all her life. Shirley attended school in Stanley. She babysat for numerous family and community children.
Shirley enjoyed coloring, eating candy, feeding the birds, watching the Food Network and keeping watch over the neighborhood. She loved family visits, and loved the color pink.
Shirley is survived by five nieces and nephews, Lori (Thomas) Jones, Lynn (Keith) Carpenter, Lisa (Tony Washburn) Hurlburt, Rich (Sarah Crosby) Hurlburt and Kimberly Nagel; several great-nieces and nephews, including Joseph P. Murphy Jr. and Timothy M. (Mary) Murphy; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Frances Brown; two sisters, Beverly Bourne and Sandra Hurlburt; and one brother, Kenneth Brown.
