Obituary

Shortsville- Tony Walter Pisula passed away Monday July 1, 2024, after a short illness.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Domonic’s Church in Shortsville N.Y on Monday, July 22, 2024 10:00am. A celebration of life with friends and family will be planned for a later date.

Tony was born in Parish, N.Y on July 19, 1939, on the family farm, the son of Steven and Mary Pisula Stelmashuck. Tony served in the US Army from 1962 – 1964, earning top marksman awards. He served in Paris France driving top military personnel and visiting dignitaries. He worked prior to and after his military services at F.E miller and sons in Parish N.Y following that he was a driver and instructor for Greyhound bus lines for 26 ½ years. Earning a safe driving record for all his years. During this time, he competed in the Madden Challenge. Where he won runner up and was able to drive for Sportscaster John Madden. After retiring he became the private driver for Dick Fox, owner of several Wendy’s Restaurants.

Tony is predeceased by his parents, his grandmother Sophia Procio and his oldest son Micheal.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years former Kathleen Welc, His daughter Danielle ( Greg) Campbell of Weedsport N.Y., Son Christopher (Leanne) Pisula Of Palmyra N.Y., Grandchildren Michaela and Greyson Campbell of Weedsport N.Y., Sister and Brother Evelyn Stelmashuck and Stephen Stelmashuck of Parish N.Y., Brother in laws John Welc and Kevin (Michele) Welc of Rochester N.Y., Nieces and Nephews Liz ( Allen) Lathrop, Kate (Robert) VanBramer, Daniel Welc, Caitlin ( Zack) Farley and Cartwright and Aubryn Stelmashuck.
