Stanley- Elmer Walter Dodds, age 88, died March 4, 2017 in St. Petersburg, Fl.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 29th at 11 a.m. at Crosswinds Wesleyan Church, 3360 Middle Cheshire Rd., Canandaigua.

Elmer served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was retired from Gleason Corp. in Rochester.
Elmer is survived by his loving companion, Virginia Stape; four children, Thomas Dodds, Kim Marie Dodds, Terri Rupert and Wendy (Douglas) Byington; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Jean (Ron) Doran; brother, Donald Dodds; brother-in-law, Bill Woolard; sister-in-law, Betty Dodds; and several nieces and nephews.
Elmer was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (Peg) Dodds; daughter, Kathy Bartlett; sister, Mary Lou Woolard; brothers, Robert Dodds and John Dodds; and parents, Jesse Wayne Dodds and Clara Bickel Dodds.
