Canandaigua- Melissa Jean Smith, age 35, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at home.
Friends may call Tuesday (March 29) from Noon to 3 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Funeral Service will follow at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Rushville Cemetery.

Melissa attended Marcus Whitman Central School. She was employed at Pactiv for several years.
Melissa is survived by her father, Russell Smith; mother, Darlene Snyder Smith; four children; Daisy Smith, Ian Smith, Trey Smith and Zaylynn Elliott; three sisters, Amy Smith, Sheri Smith and Patie Smith; and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
